Alyssa Calta, OD

Dr. Alyssa Calta graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her B.S. in Biology and continued her education at the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, IN where she graduated with highest honors. She had clinical training at her school as well as UNMC in Omaha and VAs in Brownsburg, IN and Columbia, SC. After optometry school, Dr. Calta spent a year specializing in cornea and contact lenses through a residency program in York, PA. Dr. Calta is excited to be living closer to her family in Omaha, NE and enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog.

Along with providing comprehensive eye care, Dr. Calta manages ocular diseases such as dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She has extensive experience fitting soft contact lenses as well as speciality lenses like sclerals and RGPs.
